Dates of Service
Epsten Group provided Preliminary Design and fundraising documents for North Decatur Presbyterian Church’s capital campaign for major renovations to its existing HVAC system, Fellowship Hall, and other ancillary areas through the facility. Upon successful completion of the capital campaign, Epsten Group also provided Construction Documents for the project, which proceeded in two phases: the first to re-roof the existing Fellowship Hall, and the second to completely replace the existing HVAC system throughout the church, renovate the existing Fellowship Hall and Kitchen, upgrade lighting and A/V systems in the main Sanctuary, replace plumbing fittings and fixtures throughout the church, and provide remediative work to water-proof the existing subgrade Library space. In the course of the project, Epsten Group was also asked to provide assistance to Hess Academy, a private K-10 school with classrooms on the second floor of the Fellowship Hall, for a Permit Set of documents for life safety upgrades to the existing corridors and classroom doors in order to meet the current NFPA life safety code.
