Georgia Tech | Living Building at Georgia Tech
Dates of Service
This project is a building housing classrooms, teaching laboratories, and an auditorium at Georgia Tech and is pursuing Living Building certification and net-zero performance. The energy conservation strategies include geothermal heat pumps, radiant heating and cooling, natural ventilation, and displacement ventilation. A photovoltaic roof will provide 105% of the energy used by the building. Our services include parametric energy modeling, sensitivity analysis, and building commissioning to inform the design and meet the net-zero requirement of the Living Building Challenge for the first year of operation.
