The Carnegie building is a 2-story brick veneer structure that is comprised of office spaces and below grade basement spaces, and rows of light wells that were constructed in front of the original window openings. The Tech Tower building is a 4-story red brick veneer structure with a granite foundation that is also comprised of office spaces and below grade partial basement spaces. Throughout these years, these buildings had gone through normal deterioration of the building components/materials, which has led to constant water filtration into the interior spaces, resulting in moisture build-up at many concealed locations as well as mold growth, peeled paint, and damaged building materials. Epsten Group is designing a solution to remedy these issues, as a result of the forensic review of the site.
