Grant Park Gateway, Parking Garage

Grant Park Gateway 4 20180531-4
Project Description

In 2018, the City of Atlanta addressed the need for a new parking garage near Zoo Atlanta and the Beltline, responding to demands to reduce traffic congestion and improve overall safety in the area. The new $48M, 416,999 SF project will be the first LEED/SITES/Parksmart project in the world as well as the first project in the City of Atlanta to earn SITES and Parksmart.

The project will replace the existing eight-acre parking lot with an aesthetically pleasing, semi-underground parking garage built into the surrounding landscape. A new green space and LEED-certified restaurant will be uniquely located on top of the parking garage with a state-of-the-art surveillance camera system throughout the deck to maximize public safety.
